Picnic for Two

Picnic with Ecco Domani‘Tis the season to fill your picnic baskets with colorful napkins, fruits + cheeses, uncork your favorite bottle of wine, grab a blanket or towel and transport yourself to Palm Springs {by way of your neighborhood park}! This week it’s really been heating up around Charleston, so in partnership with Ecco Domani x Christian Siriano, I scooped up Parker for a sweet waterfront picnic. How could I resist two of my favorite things?! Wine + fashion.

I’ve always been keen on white wine, but particularly in the warmer summer months. Ecco Domani’s Italian Pinot Grigio pairs perfectly with all of my favorite picnic fixings – strawberries, watermelon, and soft cheeses. The iconic brand partnered with famed fashion designer Christian Siriano this season to design a gorgeous Palm Springs inspired bottle label! It’s perfection. A match made in vino heaven. Not to mention it’s affordable price point, along with crisp + refreshing tasting notes, makes Ecco Domani a great choice for entertaining. I’m looking forward to serving the bottle at an upcoming Sunday brunch I have planned at our new place. The colorful, floral packaging adds a beautiful pop to any tablescape and would make for lovely table decor while mixing in a few peonies or palm leaves.

Three things I’ve learned about packing a picnic:
ONE. Don’t forget your bottle opener! Or better yet, purchase a basket that has one built-in.
TWO. The more color, the better your spread will look! Try adding some cute cocktail napkins, like these, by Collier Rose Ink.
THREE. Bring bread, always. Whether you’re pairing with cheese or just nibbling, there’s nothing better then fresh baked bread.
