Here we are…the conclusion of my fall collaboration with T.J. Maxx – it’s been such an incredible experience and I feel honored to be working with one of the leading retailers of our generation. I mean, when you think about it, who doesn’t know of or shop at TJs?! If you missed the first few installments, be sure to check ’em out here:

Today we’re talking all about layers. I’m currently in NYC for a quick trip {LuckyFABB – more to come I promise}, so it was so nice to be able to style an outfit in a city where layers are very much so a necessity. You’re walking around the streets of Manhattan all day, just to dodge into a heated lobby where you start sweating…gross. Therefore, layers are a must to cope with the extreme temp. changes.

I scored this unbelievably on-trend hunter green sweater a couple weeks ago {hello, major} and wanted to pair it with a pop of ‘spring’. We all have bright/colorful pieces in our closet that sometimes we may have a hard time figuring out how to transition or get use out of them across multiple seasons. Pairing a darker hue {i.e. hunter green} with a pop of, I’m talking, sunshine yellow actually works really well. You see the contract of color without overpowering the look or feeling out of place in the dead of fall/winter. Pair that with a touch of red {love} and top it off with a necklace {or any accessory really} that ties it all together!

You seriously can never go wrong with a bold, deep red lip for fall/winter – such a statement on it’s own and something you can totally for an amazing price at your local T.J. Maxx while scoring the latest fashions! Two-for-one {total bonus}.
