About two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending one of Miami’s elite events – the first Annual Veuve Cliquot Carnaval! Since this was VC’s first large scale event in Miami, I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but boy did they turn out all the stops {I mean, it’s Veuve}. Starting with an ‘intimate’ {probably about 80-100 people, including celebrity guests like Solange Knowles + Miami’s societal ‘whos-who’} brunch at The Thompson Hotel, serving up Brazilian style bites + of course lots of bubbly. We were entertained by samba dancers, clad in ornate head pieces and fabulous over-the-top ensembles. And I had some great conversation with blogger babes Kat {who I only get to see a couple times a yr. and we’re always too busy to really catch up!} + Amanda, plus caught up with some of my other blogger faves.

Following the food…came the drink. And more drink. But we don’t need to get into all of that. Let’s just say, it was an amazing way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Beautiful weather, people, party, bubbles – I’m in. Cheers to Veuve Cliquot – y’all pulled off the party of the year!

It looks like you had an amazing time! I’m officially obsessed with that clutch & how you wore all neutral-ish colors but somehow made it pop at the same time 🙂
