Travel Snapshots | SXSW

March 27, 2015

Happyyyy Friday y’all! I finally buckled down + put together a round up of my favorite snapshot from my trip to Austin for SXSW {South by Southwest if you’re not familiar – or simply ‘South By’}. It was such an incredible/inspiring experience to say the least. I had the opportunity to attend the Interactive portion of the conference/festival, which was a lot of panels, networking event, etc. – as well as a couple days of Music through a partnership with Nine West + Nylon Magazine. Such a dream.

I feel like I definitely ate my way through the city, so no judgement on the number of foodie pics in here {and this is the edited version} haha. Although I may not post about it, I’m a foodie at heart. Every time I’m in a new place I have this habit {probably a pretty bad habit} of wanting to ‘try it all’! If only there was a city-wide tasting menu. My solution? Well, when your travel buddy is also a foodie, it works out quiet nicely. Everywhere Christina + I went we basically got smaller dishes of as much as we could, and split everything. Always ordering more than needed of course, but it was our version of sampling it all. If you’re interested in discovering what we really ate + how we rated all the hot spots – head over to my bestie Christina’s post. Again, no judgement! The city’s energy during South By is infectious  Kate, Mara, Caitlin, Myself + Naty | Loved this afternoon exploring the city with some of the other Nine West ladies. Life changer here. The jury is in. Best tacos in all of Austin {and yes, I tried a TON} | East Side King

Neighborhood exploring in Austin.Loved catching up with this pretty girl on the trip! Both in Nine West shoes: mine + hers.
Cheeseeeee. Need I say more? Burro‘s Via 206 grilled cheese with gouda, cheddar + balsamic apricot jam…heavenly. Mid-day sips with the girls after visiting the Kendra Scott design headquarters + adding a little something summery to my wrist! The epitome of ‘bloggers who lunch’. I swear, the entire restaurant must have thought we were all crazy standing on table chairs just to snap pics of our plates! Haha. | at Perla’s Seafood & Oyster Bar

Following my adventures in Austin, I popped down to Dallas to spend a few days with friends – more on that to come.

Thank you so much to Nine West + Nylon Magazine for brining me along on such a fun experience! I’m so incredibly grateful. Until next year, SXSW!
