— Today marks the launch of ‘The Brighter Side of Life’ – 31 BITS summer collection —
The vision behind 31 Bits was so inspirational to me, I wanted to take the time to share {no, this is not a sponsored post, just something I feel passionate about}. I think we all too often don’t realize how blessed we are to live in a nation of such freedom with the ability to have careers and do what we love. I’m honored to help spread the word about this unbelievable company who saw the opportunity to assist struggling women in Uganda, while creating a successful, fashionable business!

It all started in 2007 with a trip to Northern Uganda: one of the 31 Bits founders discovered a woman making paper beads but lacked the market or ability to sell her product. The solution? 31 Bits was created! Fast forward to 2013…31 Bits had now created partnerships with numerous women placing them in a 4 year program that not only helps them earn a steady income, but are also given the opportunity to gain an education, learn English, as well as have access to vaccines and healthcare. Check out the FULL COLLECTION today and learn more about 31 BITS in the video below – all necklaces worn today are c/o 31 Bits.

Hello, this is great! I also found a similar company called Liberate Apparel that helps women in the Dominican Republic. Round of applause to the people who go out of their way to help others.
