This past weekend was a special one for Sterling & I as we celebrated our 7 year anniversary! I can’t believe it’s been that long – pure bliss, haha. No, I kid I kid. I’m a very lucky girl to have such a wonderful man in my life. Our actual anniversary took place while I was in NYC for Fashion Week, but seeing as it was a hectic time we both agreed to delay the festivities until we caught our breath from all the travel. Hence the ‘staycation’ idea – best. thing. ever.

The Westin Diplomat is right down the street {relatively} so we decided to take a relaxing mini getaway – just a lot of lounging, eating, drinking & tanning – does it get any better?! Plus I had some pretty cute, girly fashion duds to sport around the resort. These two A&F dresses were the perfect soft, light-weight fabric for a beach visit {they also have a ton of styles available in lace, knit & woven} + are perfect for layering {as I did with the stripe bodycon}. The brand will be rolling out additional layering options {including more rompers & maxis} this week!
