Knotted Fishtail

The secret is out…no, I did not do all of my fabulous Swim Week hair on my own. If only I was that talented. I teamed up with TRESemmé to create on-trend, summery styles that were not only fitting for my breezy outfits, but were also functional in the Miami summer weather! Having my hair down is never an option during Miami Swim, so I love opting for funky braids + crowns.

I’ll be sharing all three of my hairstyles over the coming weeks, but first up is a fun take on a traditional fishtail braid – a little something my stylist Johnny + I are calling the Knotted Fishtail.

Products used: TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Wave Creation Sea Foam at the start to create a bit of texture and wave to my hair. TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Frizz-Free Hairspray as a finishing spray, to keep my fly-aways at bay and provide a healthy shine for my summer ‘do’.
