Ah, the classic shift dress.
Always one of my absolute favorite pieces to wear – case in point {1} {2} {3}. I must have at least 15 in my closet right now. Although the silhouette is pretty straight forward and basic {practically a sack to some people}, the variety of textures and hidden details make each shift a little extra special.

Take this London Times ‘Blocked Lace Shift’ for example – it’s covered in delicate color blocked lace hitting just the right areas to draw attention up toward the face, paired with an exposed back zipper. Simple enough, yet versatile allowing you to play with the styling. I’ve paired this dainty number with a pop of yellow when it gets a little chilly indoors, statement necklace, classic pumps, coral lip, and an oversized tote.
