Today, I’m teaming up with T.J.Maxx for a 3rd look featuring fall trends! If you missed it, check out how I styled my fall staple three ways and showcased designer leather finds. This time around I was tasked with pairing ‘mixed media’ – i.e. mixing prints, patterns and textures. Hello, totally up my ally right?! I absolutely love experimenting and coming up with creative mix & match ensembles that still look put together and polished – do that with well priced pieces and you’ve got a winner, and T.J.Maxx is the perfect place for both on trend and well priced!

I’ve been out in Cali the past few days {check it all out on Instagram} and am seriously loving the change of scenery and the real fall weather {i.e. not 90+ degrees in October}! Where we have palm trees and manicured lawns back in FL, San Fran has adorably constructed brownstones and concrete paths. I feel this look truly embodies the vibe of the city while staying on track with my style.

I started building the look after scoring this amazing genuine leather, designer jacket. The combination of tweed and leather with a little touch of metallic silver thread is stunning, not to mention I love the construction of cut outs near the bottom and strips of leather across the arms and back panels – all put together with a touch of sophistication and edge. I wanted the jacket to pair with something sweet, so this darling chiffon, polka dot dress was a great way to achieve that while doing a totally different play on prints that’s unique. Top it off with a fun metallic silver mani found in the beauty section at T.J.Maxx and voila! Mixed Media perfection.
