Another series is underway on Living In Color Print and I could not be more thrilled to share with ya’ll! I’ve teamed up with 3 other blogging beauties: Cathy of Poor Little It Girl, Christina of Oh So Glam, && Katie of Katie’s Bliss to show our readers 4 unique ways to style denim for spring! We’ve partnered with some pretty sweet brands to showcase the seasons top 5 hottest denim over the next few weeks, so I hope you enjoy!

Up first we have distressed denim. Ok, I’m not going to lie here, I used to be obsessed with ‘holy jeans’ back in high school {to the point of making my own holes/razoring the jean fabric to make them even more distressed – because store bought rips were obviously not enough}. It seems they’re making a mini comeback so I wanted to showcase how to do the distressed look in a more grown up way. Pairing my jeans with a tailored blazer and pumps adds a bit of sophistication. Adding a slub tank underneath not only adds a pop of color, but also keeps the ensemble looking effortless and not too overdone. I also wore a statement necklace with a hint of yellow to tie in the shoes, since I was feeling a bit matchy matchy and all.

So there you have it – my first of 5 Stlying Spring Denim looks.
Make sure you check out the other ladies’ tips & tricks for the ripped jeans in your closet!
