Style at Home | Outdoor Living

Style at Home: Outdoor LivingTGIF! I feel like I want to scream that from the rooftops today! Alas I have one more exciting surprise for y’all this week {in addition to an unusually form fitting ensemble AND fab giveaway}: a little sneaky peek around my outdoor living space! Home decor and decorating is something I really enjoy, but when my boyfriend and I moved into our townhouse about a year and 1/2 ago we’ve been constantly renovating, designing, and decorating. Guess that’s homeownership for ya, but it gets a little overwhelming. I feel like I’m finally in a place where I’m happy with the way our home looks and feels. It will never be perfect, but that’s the beauty of interior design, you can switch it up all the time!

When it came to designing our outdoor space we literally had nothing to start with, so we’ve kept it simple for now and I’ll be adding new touches here and there {dying to this DIY project}. It’s obviously a very small space, but I wanted it to fit our needs and look appealing. So, I turned to a couple of my fave Etsy shops for pillows and The Shopping Bag {code ‘LCPRINT’ for 25% OFF} for a few splashes of color. Seriously, how adorable are these artichoke shaped candles?! I love how they break up the orange, white, and black color scheme without the use of flowers. They’ve got some great, affordable home accent pieces to check out for interior and exterior spaces.Style at Home | Outdoor LivingStyle at Home | Outdoor LivingStyle at Home | Outdoor Living   Style at Home | Outdoor Living Style at Home | Outdor LivingStyle at Home | Outdoor LivingStyle at Home | Outdoor Living

With all honesty I can say that I never would have looked at an artichoke decoration if it weren’t for this post haha — love the unexpected little touch! Colors are so appropriate — thanks for sharing a little slice of your Florida home with us!

Wow! Talk about inspiring!! You’ve done a great job with your limited space. What a fun backyard! I bet you and the boyfriend take advantage of it anytime you can.
