I’m officially winding down from the hecticness of last weeks’ NYFW festivities, and wanted to share some of my guiltless on-the-go essentials with y’all. Combating the cold weather, along with a seemingly never ending agenda of meetings, shows, presentations, events, parties, etc. can get tiring. Don’t get me wrong, it’s ALL kinds of fun, but when you’re on-the-go for 6 days straight in the freezing NYC winter temps, it’s important to have your essentials organized + ready to go.

First up – and perhaps the most important for me personally…a good snack on the go. When I’m super busy I often forget to eat, or it doesn’t become a priority {terrible, I know}. That’s where thinkThink® comes in. Their bars are jam packed with protein, which is really filling {in a good way} and satisfies my body until I have a chance to sit down for a real meal. They’re the perfect guilt-free snack since they’re gluten free {happy tummy here}.

Second – electronics. Because whether we admit it or not, we’re all a little addicted. Back up + external chargers keep all my devices up and running while I’m on the go, so I can indulge in all those little guiltless online pleasures. Let the likes, comments, and uploads continue!

Third – beauty/health. I don’t know a single gal that doesn’t love a little lip product in her bag. I mean, it’s a no brainer. Moisturizer goes a long way to fight that winter chill + dryness, but playing with different flavors and colors is all the fun!

Mother’s Day is almost here! That one special day each and everyone of us gets to celebrate the amazingness of Moms everywhere. I’m all for a sweet card, or act of kindness {make her breakfast in bed, clean the house, babysit, etc}, but no Momma can resist a great gift. Am I right? Whether you’re purchasing for your Mother, Grandmother or maybe your Wife {yes, there are some men that may need help}, I’ve put together a few items I think are tasteful + timeless at all price points.

Think fine jewelry + beautiful handbags from TOUS. A Spain-based brand that focuses on the meaning and value behind their pieces. Ahh the slip on sneaker…my ultimate shoe love {for the moment anyway}. I was actually somewhat of a late adopter to the whole ‘athleticism’ trend: you know, wearing sneakers + athletic wear on the regular for a casual ensemble. But then I realized how comfortable slipping on a pair of fashionable sneakers is! I honestly hope this trend never go away. It’s sort of like an even more casual version of the loafer, but for cool kids. I’d had my eye on the Joie Kidmore sneaker for weeks + was finally able to get my hands on a pair, thanks to an upcoming collab {more on that soon}. They are a tad on the pricey side {for a pair of sneakers}, but totally worth it given the quality. I accidentally got drenched in a sudden monsoon with Ashley recently, and surprisingly these babies bounced right back! I was nervous I had completely ruined them {I mean, they were drenched}, but low-and-behold, survival!
